PROPHETIC WARNING SPIRITUAL WARFARE & THE ANGELIC IN THE LAST DAYS PART 5?

Without setting dates, I believe we are in the time period immediately before the Tribulation Period. The Church and the individual Christian is not to be passive and fatalistic, but “to occupy until I come.” Among activities such as faithful Bible teaching and evangelism, we are to occupy through prayer. There are endless commandments and exhortations throughout scripture to pray always!
Dr. Francis Schaeffer, the greatest Evangelical Theologian in the last 100 years, understood the Biblical mandate for spiritual warfare. Unfortunately, the majority of the Church today does not understand their call to spiritual warfare and the results of that failure are everywhere. We are one crisis away from global economic collapse, world government and technological terrorism that is so pervasive that there will be nowhere to run and nowhere to hide.
“Do we really believe that we are engaged in this cosmic battle? Do we really believe that there are "powers of this dark world" which rule our age? Or as the Apostle John says, do we really believe that "the whole world is under the control of the evil one" (1 John 5:19)? If we do not believe these things (and we must say that much of the evangelical world acts as if it does not believe these things), we certainly cannot expect to have much success in fighting the battle. Why has the Christian ethos in our culture been squandered? Why do we have so little impact upon the world today? Is it not because we have failed to take the primary battle seriously?” “The Great Evangelical Disaster,” by Dr. Francis Schaeffer, Crossway Books.
Schaeffer was an intellectual and a fundamentalist. It is one of the greatest tragedies of our time that his work is not mandatory reading in Christian High Schools, Christian Universities and among pastors.
There are two primary mistakes the Christian Church makes today regarding spiritual warfare. First, if they engage in it, they often go way beyond what the Bible teaches and enter a kind of extra-Biblical fantasy land prayer that is powerless. Second, there are many believers who in over reacting to the obvious excesses of much of what is done in the name of spiritual warfare, disobey the Lord by not entering spiritual warfare as He commanded the Bible and render the Church powerless!
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6:12)
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. . . Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. (Ephesians 6:10,11, 13-18)
There is no way to miss the fact that God is calling us to become spiritual warriors adept at using spiritual weapons, in spiritual warfare. Bible prophecy teaches us very clearly that the Church is here for a reason, before the return of Christ and that the Holy Spirit or Restrainer lives in the Church. We are losing our nations, children, governments and culture because of great disobedience in this area. Each of us will be held accountable for what we taught and whether or not obeyed. Eternal souls are at stake!
On both a personal, national and global level we are in moving quickly into the most intense time of spiritual warfare that the world has ever known. Without jumping off into the deep end, going beyond what the Bible teaches or entering into the area of the occult. We must understand that the Bible gives clear accounts and teaching about the reality of the angelic and demonic. Although, we live in a physical dimension, simultaneously we interact with the invisible realm, parallel universe or spiritual realm.
We do not worship angels, but that does not mean that we are not to be aware of the existence of angels and demons. We live in a supernatural relationship with Jesus Christ and our life in this world is both natural and supernatural. Jesus Christ is coming back and we will live in heaven eternally. This physical world is a temporary world that we are just passing through. Again, we do not worship angles or trivialize them. But, God has sent guardian angels in your life and there is a war going on between the demonic and angelic all around us.
The reality is that in most countries in the world, the entrance of demons has been allowed in because of disobedience to the word of God and sin. That is why America is growing spiritually darker. Yet, God called us for such a time as this. We will not over rule God’s prophetic program, but, “When the enemy comes in, like a flood the Spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against Him.”
I believe God wants a Biblical Third Great Awakening, a Biblical last day’s revival and last day’s soul harvest before He returns. The fact that there have been counterfeit revivals throughout history does not negate the reality of a genuine Biblical revival.
