SPIRITUAL WARFARE IN THE LAST DAYS

We are in what the Apostle Paul called the “last days.” Since 1948 when Israel was reborn as a nation, the world has been rapidly moving towards the Tribulation Period. The Tribulation Period will be seven year time period, also referred to as “the time of Jacob’s trouble.” The freak weather, earthquakes, tsunamis, pestilences, plagues and wars we are experiencing are just a hint of what is to come. ]

It is our responsibility to not only fulfill the Great Commission, but to, “Occupy until I come.” One of the primary means of this spiritual occupation is conducting through spiritual warfare or using spiritual weapons in the invisible realm. The invisible real is a term for the spiritual world which exists in another dimension or parallel universe.

The Apostle Paul said, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12 This means that our spiritual battle is not with people, but against demonic forces in another dimension. These forces led by Satan are organized into principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness and spiritual host of wickedness. Entities, beings and demons move from this dimension through portals into our physical world. Occult rituals and sacrifices can often open these gates. This is why Babylon and the Tower of Babel stem from the term “gates of god.” Nimrod, who was quite possibly a Nephilim, organized the people to build the Tower of Babel as an astrological worship tower. But, Nimrod also understood that the Tower of Babel was a portal and that is why all occult religions originate from Babylon.

The primary spiritual battle began in Eden and is escalating in the last days. In the Garden of Eden, the perfect biosphere, Adam and Eve live in Paradise. God gives them the authority to rule Planet Earth. However, Satan or the “serpent of old,” is in the Garden of Eden and the following scenario happens:
“ Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”

And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’”
Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.

And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden.” Genesis 3:1-8

All Biblical spiritual warfare must be built on the foundation of God’s Word. The last day’s spiritual battle is centered on the Word of God. Mind control and brainwashing techniques utilizing political correctness, consensus building, and collectivism are designed to break down a person’s belief in Biblical and absolute truths. Ultimately, they are demonically energized because at its root, it is warfare against the Word of God.

From a prophetic standpoint, Satan’s last days attack on the church is through false teachers and false prophets who communicate false doctrine. False doctrine is when the Word of God is rejected and replaced with humanistic and New Age ideas. This is exactly how Satan approached Adam and Eve; he got them to doubt the explicit meaning of the Word of God. Many movements in the modern church follow the model that the serpent used in the Garden of Eden.

In the last days this spiritual deception culminates in the great apostasy or falling away from the truth of the Word of God, within the church. It is in this apostate environment that the False Prophet will arise, who will head up the coming one world religion. A potential facet of that one world religion may be the use of extraterrestrials and UFO’s to unify the world. I believe there will be a massive last day’s soul harvest and revival before the Return of Jesus Christ. The way we will be able to discern between a counterfeit revival and genuine revival, is through the Word of God.
