I have spent many hours explaining the Pagan roots of modern Christmas. The reason I use the Christmas video is to give people something to send to their friends that Jesus is the reason for the season. And know I don't celebrate a Pagan Holiday! But, in a Pagan age with humanism censoring everything Christian it is important that we actually say the words Merry Christmas because it communicates that this is not about an empty Happy Holidays. History teaches that symbols and words are important. You live in a culture where most kids don't even know the reason for the manger scene and many almost never hear the words Christmas, they would be sent home from school if they said the words Christmas, so the word Christmas is dangerous to the powers of darkness. . Yes, I know all the pagan traditions, symbols surrounding Christmas going back to the Roman Emperor Constantine, but unless you draw people in to hear your message you can communicate to anyone.
